Meet Proud Mary, a mature female bully mix. We suspect Mary is staffordshire terrier / bull terrier mix because of her large rabbit ears. After months in a Georgia shelter, Proud Mary was just two days from euthanasia when our rescue agreed to take her, and this silly loving girl has been lounging in comfort ever since. Mary is a lap dog at heart and lives for an invite up onto the couch and a belly rub. Mary does not bark excessively inside the home though she will ‘talk’ to you when she wants attention. She loves morning walks, snacks and rolling in the grass. Mary would do best in a fenced yard or with an owner committed to daily walks though at 9 years old now, they don’t need to be very long. Mary likes her personal space and would not enjoy dog park visits. While Mary loves kids, we do not recommend her for a household with small children as she may easily knock them over with her excitability! She is ready for the good life!
We promised Proud Mary that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?
