This beautiful senior is Hattie. She is a coonhound mix who was found as a stray by a good samaritan who took her in to foster! Here's what they have to say:
"I found the sweetest senior female hound mix in my neighborhood. Her owner abandoned her and does not want her back. Hattie loves humans! She loves giving kisses and is very trusting. She let my husband trim her nails just hours after we met her. She was very good for me in the bath, and she is a big cuddle bug. She loves to be on couches and the bed with her humans. Hattie is good with other dogs; she gets along with my treeing walker hound mix and collie mix well. I will say my collie mix has a little too much energy for her and she much prefers my senior hound mix, who mostly sleeps. I have no info about how she gets along with cats or children, but she’s mild mannered and fairly unbothered by things. She does, however, like to jump on people and would easily topple a small child, lol! She will need to be trained somewhat (she’s very distractible haha). But old dogs can learn new tricks- we already taught her to sit and her recall is improving! She is also house trained!"
We promised Hattie that the rest of her life, would be the best of her life. Could that be with you?
