I've found my furever family!

This sweet soul is Athena, an 8 year old rottweiler that was found as a stray. She was found in bad shape, terribly skinny and missing fur, and her eyes rendered her almost blind. We pulled her into our care immediately and got to work on healing this precious girl. She has been through so much from what we can tell, but now she is ready for a quiet rest of her life, full of love and pampering as she deserves! Athena seems to be housetrained, crate trained, leash trained, and knows basic commands. She gets along well with other dogs and likes kids, but would do best in a quieter household to allow her body and mind to continue to heal from her ordeal. Athena is a perfect gem of a dog, who deserves the very best happy ending.
