I've found my furever family!

Meet Brooke, the sweetest little chocolate cocker spaniel born 11/20/2022. Brooke was originally rescued from a breeding situation. She has spent time in a loving home, but she has found herself in search of a new home due to no fault of her own. She is your true “Velcro dog” as she loves being wherever her person is.  Brooke is very shy and timid when she first meets people, but she will slowly warm up to you and show you her amazing personality.  She seems to prefer women over men, and can be a little fearful around men. She loves kids and does very well with them. She gets along just fine with cats and dogs of all sizes. She is crate trained and potty trained (but like a typical cocker she will piddle if she’s overly excited or if she’s scared or nervous). She thrives on a routine and once she is adjusted to her routine she is nearly perfect! She is a pretty laid back lazy dog that is happy and content to lay around all day and nap unless there are snacks! Her favorite snacks are bananas! She doesn’t get on furniture unless she is invited up there.  Even when she’s up in the big bed she is not a snuggler.  She likes to spread out and take up as much of the bed as possible and be closest to the fan. She does very well for her grooms and nail trims! She loves toys and has toys that she likes and two that she absolutely loves! Her hedgehog is her favorite she will seek that one out despite all of her other toys.  And she has a small tiger that carries around and acts like it’s her baby. Brooke has luxating patellas, which may need to be fixed in the future.
