I've found my furever family!

Butterfly is a super sweet, affectionate girl with a heart as big as her love for people. At just 1 year old, this 49-pound girl has been through a lot but still showers everyone she meets with kisses. She knows how to sit, is great in a crate/kennel, and travels well in the car. Butterfly is kid-friendly, making her the perfect companion for a family. Her story is heartbreaking—she was brought to the shelter after being shot in her front leg. Radiographs revealed a lead bullet fragmented in her foot, fracturing a bone, and causing trauma to her tibia. Thankfully, no additional treatment is required for her tibia, and Butterfly is healing well in a foster home to keep her safe from a virus going around the shelter. While her dog test is still pending and she hasn’t been cat-tested yet, Butterfly is ready to find a forever home filled with love and cuddles. This affectionate, resilient pup will bring joy to anyone lucky enough to call her family.
