I've found my furever family!

Luna is a 3 yo hound-whippet mix who is a highly intelligent, affectionate, energetic sweetheart. She loves walks, running at dog parks, and cuddles. Luna is house-trained, knows her basic commands, was a star at dog training classes (fast-learner) and loves to run. Luna gets along with other dogs and children, loves games and her toys, and is spayed up-to-date in shots and vaccinations. She would be ideal for an athletic owner or family who could take her on many walks or for a family with another comparable dog who likes to play and go after balls. A high fenced-in yard is ideal. Once she’s had her exercise, she settles in for long naps. She’s outgoing and friendly, adores attention, and is also ideal for agility training or flyball or an owner who runs. She is easily the fastest dog in most groups. She has good manners, and loves training, and would benefit from an owner invested in continuing to develop her skills. She was adopted at 8 months but, due to a decline in her owner’s health, is available for adoption. She has been living in a home with a small terrier, alas too old to romp! She lives in the Boston area.
