Meet Mare, a resilient 2-3 year-old Pitbull Terrier mix who came to us after a tragic ordeal where she was found emaciated, filthy, and desperately trying to survive with her five puppies. Despite her heartbreaking past, Mare has shown incredible strength and spirit. After being rescued from a dire situation, where she bravely escaped an outdoor kennel to save her pups, Mare is now thriving in a loving foster home. Initially unsure of humans, she has quickly learned that kindness exists, and she’s blossoming with each day. Mare is soaking up all the love, gaining weight, and enjoying every belly rub she gets. Mare is ready to leave her past behind and find a forever home where she can continue to heal and be cherished.
