I'm ready for my new family!

Meet Marjorie! This sweet Carolina Dog mix came to us from another shelter along with her six puppies. Now that her babies are weaned and looking for homes of their own, it's Marjorie's turn to find her forever family. She’s estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old and has a gentle, loving personality. Marjorie walks nicely on a leash, gets along well with other dogs, and does great in her crate, which she considers her safe space. She can be a little nervous in new environments, so she’ll need a few days to settle in. But once she’s comfortable, her affectionate side really shines. She loves being close to her people and seems to think she is a lap dog, despite weighing between 30 to 40 pounds. She is a truly sweet and loving girl, who will make a great addition to any family.
