This beautiful girl is Stormie, a 1 year old golden retriever mix who came to us with her siblings and mom, completely feral and terrified of everything. Her family has all been adopted out and are blossoming in their forever homes, but Storm is still waiting for her chance! Stormie has been improving in our care, but she will still need a lot of extra TLC and patience to learn how to be a dog. She is unaccustomed to human touch, and is unfamiliar with what it takes to be a family pup. However, our staff is working with them around the clock to ensure they are getting socialized and learning to trust and feel safe around humans! She is learning leash skills, slowly being comfortable with pets and affection, and working on household manners. She is going to need special adopter who is dedicated to training and working with her so she can become the best dog she can be!
